Measuring is easy, when your blind is to fitted OUTSIDE the recess, YOU decide how big you would like the blind to be(depending on free space avaliable) The blind should be 3" or 75mm wider than yourwindow, space permiting. When your blind is INSIDE the recess simply measure the width and height of the recess. Always use a steel tape and check the dimentions in several places noting the SHORTEST width and height measurments.

Draw Selection

To suite your requirments you can choose to have vertical blind louvers drawn in any one of three ways. 1) Split Draw Fabric draws from both ends of the blind. 2) Singles Left hand or Right hand Fabric draws from the side of the control.

Location of Controls

Are you right or left handed? Which is the best side of the window in terms of ease of access? These are the kind of questions needed to be concidered when deciding where to locate tour operating controls.

Window Handels and Window Openings

Be very careful to note how your window open especially if they open into the room. For instance centre piviot windows cannot be opened unless the blinds are open too. You will also need sufficient room above the window to accommodate the headrail or roller without impeding your window operation.
